Research is a critical component of NDPI’s work, informing both program development and impact evaluation. Often developed in collaboration with our partners, NDPI’s research includes market and value chain analyses and the examination of socio-economic factors that impact development in the Niger Delta such as community engagement, gender inequality and conflict.

February 2016 - This report updates peace agents on trends in conflict risk and violence in Cross River State. There were few incidents of violence reported during Nov. 2015 through Jan. 2016 and those that did ocur included cult-related violence, communal conflict and suspected human trafficking.

Ondo State Conflict Tracker: Feb. 2016
February 2016 - This report updates peace agents on trends in conflict risk and violence in Ondo State. Ondo had fewer incidents during November 2015 to January 2016 than many other Niger Delta states. Those issues that were reported included a leadership tussle, criminality, protests, and incidents involving public security forces.
